Welcome to The Restored Life blog!

This blog was created from a desire to cultivate a place where believers are able to fully embrace the restored life they have through Jesus Christ. My hope is that everyone who comes across this blog would be encouraged to no longer see themselves through the lens of their past but recognize and believe they are a new creation in Christ. Its purpose is to exalt God, equip believers, and encourage others. This is a place for all believers no matter if you are new to the faith or have been walking with God for several years. As we all are in different places in our journey with Christ, we must keep our focus on Him. It is my hope that this blog will help to build up your faith and that you hold fast to your identity in Christ. I pray you will be blessed by the blog and share it with others.

Logo Meaning

The Black Circle: represents wholeness. Through Christ, we are made whole. He heals our brokenness, and we are restored to our original design. (Colossians 2:10)

The Red Paint Stroke: represents the shed blood of Jesus. His blood cleanses us of our sins, and we are now reconciled with the Father. Atonement – the reconciliation of God and humankind through Jesus Christ. (Isa. 53:3-11; II Cor. 5:18-21; Rom. 3:21-26; Col. 2:13-14; I John 2:1-2)

The Blue Background: represents restoration and being filled with the Spirit of God. Through Christ, our identity is restored. We are born again and now receive sonship. As sons of God, we are filled with and led by the Spirit of God.  (Rom. 8:14-17; John 3:3-6; II Cor. 5:17; Gal. 3:26-29, 4:3-7, 6:15)

The Gold Stars: represents light. As believers, we are the light of the world. We shouldn’t try to diminish or hide our light to blend in with the world. Instead, it should shine so others see our good works and glorify our Father.  (Mat. 5:14-16; Eph. 5:8; I Thes. 5:5)

He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. – Psalms 23:3 NKJV
